Esporles ( Esporlas )

Esporles is a small mountain town running along a river about 25 minutes from Palma at the end of the Tramuntana ( Tramuntanya ) mountain range.

It has a population of 4 thousand people, and sits at altitude of about200 metres.

Originally it was important for the textile industry. It is a nice stop off point on a tour of the northern road do Deia. It has a nice square with cafes. Pricess Diana de Francia lives here.
